STEM by its very acronym implies an integration of subject matter. This workshop will explore how to better integrate the subjects and situate them in a real-world, problem solving context. By integrating science content with engineering practices tools, technologies and methods for incorporating innovation, invention and project-based learning in the classroom, STEM provides a pathway to engage students in deeper learning and a backdrop against which critical thinking, data literacy, and creative problem solving can be taught. This session will explore projects, practices and technologies to create a successful, integrated STEM experience for students.
