My assessment practices as well as other classroom practices were completely transformed following my completion of the year-long E.E. Ford Cohort at Westminster, which was focused on assessment. I will share best practices and how I use them in the areas of formative assessment, redo policies, homework, and feedback. My presentation will emphasize the importance of the growth mindset. I will share "before" and "after" stories to help teachers understand how their classrooms and student learning can be transformed.
