Jennifer Sikes taught for a decade as Assistant Professor of English and Writing Center Director at a small liberal arts school in Georgia, where she received the Vulcan Teaching Excellent and Campus Leadership Award. As Writing Center Director, Jennifer worked closely with many incoming freshmen who were not prepared to write at the college level, so she left her tenure-track position to teach high school English. At Darlington School, Jennifer teaches Freshman English 1 and AP English Literature. She currently serves on a task force to build digital portfolios into Darlington's curriculum.
